Certifying your Integrations

Getting Certified and Connecting with Live Districts

To obtain a production account and connect with live districts on Clever, your application must be certified by our Partner Engineering team. Depending on which integration type you've decided to build with Clever will determine which Certification process your app will need to be reviewed by. For each Clever integration, there is a Certification process:

1. Clever Library
2. District Single Sign-On (SSO)
3. Rostering (Secure Sync)

If you are unsure which integration type you need to build, please use the Integration Picker to help inform your decision.

Once you've determined the best integration type for your application, you will need to coordinate with a development team to begin building the integration. Here are a few pages from our docs that we recommend reviewing to get started with each integration:

Multiple Certifications

You can be certified for more than one integration type:

• For Library and District SSO integration built simultaneously, submit for certification once.
• For Library and Secure Sync integration built simultaneously, submit for certification separately.
• For District SSO and Secure Sync integration built simultaneously, submit for certification once.
• For any combination of integration types built separately, submit for each certification separately.
